The secret weapon of the super organised

Put simply TIME! The clock keeps ticking away no matter what! It’s extremely easy to loose track of time, to get distracted and waste time, and most of all to be vague about your priorities and spend time doing pointless things.
Most people will tell you that spending quality time with family is about the most important thing we can do in our lives. Many would believe that they probably do that but if they were to have some kind of activity tracking device on them 24/7 they might find that huge chunks of time each week is spent looking for lost things, & other such pointless ventures
It’s easy to think your spending time with family in these scenarios after all your searching for the car keys to take little Johnny to soccer but i think little johnny would have a different view of the situation

Managing a household is a busy job-  there’s Regular housework, Home maintenance, yard maintenance, family finances, family health, kids education and other activities.  Managing your time is at the heart of ensuring you get everything done efficiently so that you keep chore time to a minimum and have maximum quality time with your family.
One strategy you can use right now is to make a note of what you do when you do it and how long it takes to do things currently. If at all possible to it in 15 or 30 minute increments - this will give you some idea of how long chores take to do and where you might be wasting valuable time.

Another important time management strategy to learning to say NO, many people find this difficult but guess what? saying no won’t kill hte other person, and managing your own affairs should be a priority - these events will show up when you log where you spend your time.

When it comes to a schedule Start by blocking in those areas of the day that are committed like your work and kids stuff  work from there to block in all of the tasks you need to get done each day.
Once you’re top the time train you’re really on your way to being organised.
That’s it for this time, in the next episode  Homemaker or Family CEO
